Building trust with your sales team

Fostering trust in a sales team is crucial for long-term success. I recently implemented regular one-on-one check-ins, which have really helped in understanding their challenges and building better relationships. I’m curious if anyone else has had success with unconventional methods for boosting team engagement.

I totally get what you mean about building better relationships. , it’s such a challenge sometimes! I started using anonymous surveys for my team to voice their concerns without fear — really opened up a lot of dialogue.

Regular one-on-ones are great for fostering trust… I’ve found that incorporating team-building activities, even virtual ones, can really break down barriers. It’s all about creating an environment where everyone feels safe to share.

I once tried hosting casual ‘lunchtime brainstorms’ where team members could share ideas without the usual pressure. It felt like a comedy club at first, but it really opened up lines of communication. @ckimura50, have you noticed any specific team-building activities spark more engagement than others?
